Learn about the essential processes of the water cycle on a forest walk. The hydrological study area of the “Forest Lab” is a 10-minute walk from the Hönggerberg campus. On a one-hour “forest walk” you will learn more about the essential components of the water cycle in the forest and “follow” a raindrop on its journey. You will learn how the paths of water in the forest are studied using state-of-the-art measuring methods in order to better understand how climate changes affect the water balance of Swiss forests.
